Community Policing. Selection of officers to cooperative policing assignments at each Troop will normally be from the then current roster of officers assigned to that Troop.
Community Policing. In recognition of the fact that the University’s operations and student populations are concentrated in the Neighborhoods and the benefits of community policing, the City agrees to dedicate at least two (2) sworn, non-probationary officers from the City police department to act as community service officers and work with DPS’s Community Policing Services Unit to engage students (and their parents) and student groups in the Neighborhoods. Such officers will be stationed full time on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule (hours to be mutually agreed upon by the parties, but shall include evening hours on a consistent basis) at the following locations: (a) the University’s Xxxxxxxxxx and X. Xxxx Xxxxxx Student Center, and (b) a mutually agreed upon location on the University’s south campus.
Community Policing. The Contractor shall update annually the LACMTA approved Community Policing Plan. Building and sustaining community partnerships is central to LACMTA’s goal of reducing vulnerability to crime. This will require periodic attendance at community meetings and other events designed to xxxxxx LACMTA’s relationship with the community. The Contractor shall provide staff with specific training in Problem Oriented Policing in order to assist LACMTA in addressing longstanding challenges related to crime, blight and disorder. As part of the Community Policing Plan, it is important for the Contractor to incorporate feedback from bus and rail managers into the overall policing strategy. Maintaining a continuous dialogue will xxxxxx operational understanding of the unique challenges associated with policing in a transit environment. The primary goal of these collaborative efforts is to ensure that each of the Divisions are given appropriate coverage and xxxxxx the safety of the operators.
Community Policing. 20.01 This agreement recognizes that the SPD is adopting a Community Based Problem Oriented Policing Strategy (CB POP) emphasizing geographic accountability based on neighborhoods. In this strategy, officers are assigned to specific geographic subdivisions of the City and engage in a variety of place and specific crime control, order maintenance, and fee reduction tactics. 20.02 Although Supervisors’ tours of duty while in uniform assigned to patrol district are a seniority pick, assignment to a particular district will be the result of a process involving the eligible Sergeants, Lieutenants and Captains and their Commanders. 20.03 For the purposes of implementing a department-wide CB POP strategy the provisions of this article shall apply to personnel assigned to the policing districts and to personnel assigned to tactical anti-crime units in the patrol division.
Community Policing. In parallel to this Neighbourhood Management initiative, the Central area of Barrow has been identified as a pilot for Neighbourhood Policing in Cumbria as part of a National Initiative in Community Policing. This approach will allow partners to consider how Neighbourhood Management and Neighbourhood Policing can be integrated to achieve optimum impact and this is reflected in the recommendations.

  • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property.   • Community Outreach Please describe all community outreach efforts undertaken since the last report.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include: (1) convening and participating in the Community Task Force and other advisory groups; (2) ensuring that regular meetings of the Community Task Force are held to apprise participants of the status of the development process and to solicit comments, opinions, advice, and recommendations on the planning and implementation of the Grantee's revitalization efforts; and (3) if requested by HUD, entering into a memorandum of understanding with the members of the Community Task Force setting forth the manner and frequency of task force meetings, the method (if any) for designating resident and community participants, and the issues that the task force will discuss and develop.

  • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the Funder including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans.

  • Income Protection, Trauma and Journey Insurance The Employer is, and will remain during the life of this Agreement, a participating employer in the Nominated Redundancy Fund and an employer member of IPT Agency Co Ltd. IPT Agency Co Ltd administers the insurance schemes covering income protection, trauma and journey accidents (Income Protection, Trauma and Journey Accidents Insurance Schemes).

  • Community Property Each spouse individually is bound by, and such spouse’s interest, if any, in any Optioned Shares is subject to, the terms of this Agreement. Nothing in this Agreement shall create a community property interest where none otherwise exists.

  • WORKPLACE SAFETY AND INSURANCE BOARD Clause 14.01 (a) When a probationary or regular employee, through employment with the Employer, suffers an injury or disability, or a recurrence of an injury or disability, the Employer shall pay the employee an amount, when combined with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board payment, equals the employee’s regular wage less deductions required by law, for a period of nine (9) months from the first day of absence. (b) Pending receipt of payment from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, an employee shall receive advances up to the amount of the employee’s regular wage rate, less income tax deductions and shall continue to receive their regular wage rate during the period of absence up to nine (9) months provided that: (i) the employee will make reasonable effort to ensure prompt completion of necessary forms and information required to receive approval of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board payment; (ii) the employee will be expected to fully participate in alternate work, if recommended, by the employee’s medical doctor; (iii) the employee’s claim has not been disallowed by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and; (iv) the employee agrees in writing, to sign over to the Employer the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board payments. (a) The Employer shall continue to pay for a period of time not to exceed thirty (30) months from the first day of an injury or disability, the premium cost for health and insurance benefits as covered by Clauses 16.03 and 16.04. (b) Should an employee return to work from an injury or disability for a period of six (6) continuous months and subsequently suffers a recurrence of an injury or disability, then the provisions of Clauses 14.02(a) and 14.03(a) shall apply. (c) Notwithstanding Clause 14.02(b), if an employee having ceased to be disabled returns to work and again becomes disabled from the same or related cause within six (6) months, it would be considered as one (1) continuous period of disability as per Clauses 14.02(a) and 14.03(a). (a) For a period of up to thirty (30) months from the first day of injury or disability, the employee shall be eligible to return to their same position classification if capable of performing the required work. If unable to perform the required work, the employee shall be given all reasonable consideration for any available job for which the employee is able and qualified to perform. (b) Notwithstanding Part (a), if any employee’s position is declared redundant while on WSIB leave, the employee upon their return shall exercise normal bumping procedures as per Article 8.
