Subagent definition

Subagent shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 8.02.
Subagent means a broker and a broker’s affiliated licensees, engaged by another broker to act as an agent for a client. The subagent has the same obligations and responsibilities to the client as the primary broker representing the client.
Subagent means any individual: (1) licensed by a State in which an eligible crop insurance contract is sold and serviced for the reinsurance year; and (2) who provides on behalf of an Agent any sales or service, or assistance with sales and service, for some or all of the Agent’s eligible crop insurance contract(s).

  • For each Subagent the Form ST- 123 shall be completed as follows: (i) the “Project information” section of Form ST-123, attached hereto as Exhibit C-2, should be completed using the name and address of the Project Facility as indicated on the Form ST-60 used to appoint the Subagent; (ii) the date that the Subagent was appointed as indicated on the Form ST-60; and (iii) the “Exempt purchases” section of Form ST-123 should be completed by marking “X” in box “A” only.
