Supportive Housing Units definition

Supportive Housing Units means Assisted Units offered as permanent housing linked to supportive services where occupancy is restricted to Eligible Households that both (1) are homeless or at risk of homelessness and (2) include a disabled adult.
Supportive Housing Units means units that are occupied by households receiving formal support services from Support Service Agencies. Supportive Housing Units may be either intergraded into projects or dedicated to a single Project;
Supportive Housing Units means the 6 apartment units in the Apartment Housing which have been set-aside to be occupied by Supportive Housing Tenants.

Examples of Supportive Housing Units in a sentence

  • No later than ninety (90) days after the end of each Fiscal Year for the Development, Borrower shall submit for Department review and approval a report on the Supportive Housing Units households in the Development.

  • The following exhibits are attached hereto, incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement: Exhibit A: Legal Description of the Property; Exhibit B: Unit Designation and Rent Schedule and requirements for Supportive Housing Units or Special Needs Population Units; and Exhibit C: Special Conditions.

  • This report shall be on a form provided by the Department, and shall include a listing of the number and type of Supportive Housing Units residents, a description of the supportive services provided to them, and such other matters as the Department may require.

  • For the full term of this Agreement, Borrower shall restrict occupancy of ______ Units within the Development as Supportive Housing Units to be occupied by Eligible Households which are both (1) homeless or at risk of homelessness and (2) include a disabled adult.

  • Borrower shall comply with all the requirements for Supportive Housing Units, supportive services and Special Needs Populations Units, if any, as set forth in Exhibit B, Part II.


More Definitions of Supportive Housing Units

Supportive Housing Units means a minimum of 53 of the Affordable Units as defined in the Multifamily Housing Program (MHP) Regulations at 25 C.F.R. Section 7341. If Developer secures more than 53 Project Based Section 8 Vouchers, the additional number of units with Project Based Section 8 Vouchers in excess of 53 shall also be designated as Supportive Housing Units.
Supportive Housing Units means 41 of the Affordable Units, including 31 MHSA units and 10 units to be operated as Supporting Housing Units as defined in the Multifamily Housing Program (MHP) Regulations at 25 C.F.R. Section 7341.
Supportive Housing Units means seven (7) of the Affordable Units which shall be restricted to occupancy by a household with a member that has one or more physical or mental disabilities or illnesses, including, without limitation, a developmental disability (an orthopedic disability impairing personal mobility or a physical disability affecting his or her ability to obtain employment, or in which a person requires special care of facilities in the home), substance abuse, addiction or alcoholism, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, or other serious chronic conditions, or individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Social services such as job training, life skills training, alcohol and drug abuse programs and case management shall be provided to tenants of the Supportive Housing Units in need of assistance.
Supportive Housing Units means public housing units developed, leased, acquired or supported by CHA that meet the needs of particularly vulnerable populations and are tied to services for those populations, including the homeless or those at risk of becoming homeless, and those facing serious, persistent challenges to a successful life such as alcohol abuse, substance use, mental illness or HIV/AIDS. Populations served may also include persons with developmental disabilities or the frail elderly.
Supportive Housing Units means a combination of housing and services intended as a way to help people live more stable, productive lives that is widely believed to work well for those who face the most complex challenges—individuals and families confronted with homelessness and who also have very low incomes and/or serious, persistent issues that may include substance abuse, addiction or alcoholism, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, or other serious challenges to a successful life. Supportive Housing is coupled with such social services as job training, life skills training, alcohol and drug abuse programs and case management to populations in need of assistance and intended to be a pragmatic solution that helps people recover and succeed while reducing the overall cost of care.
