Sustainability Performance Target definition

Sustainability Performance Target means the percentage of the Balance of Green Loans to the Adjusted Gross Loans and Advances to Customers as of 31 December 2022, being equal to or greater than 9.5 per cent., which will be published on the official website of the Bank (http://www.ccb.com/) on or before the Target Observation Date. Such percentage is subject to verification by the External Verifier on a limited assurance basis as set out in the SPT Verification Assurance Confirmation;

Sustainability Performance Target. (SPT) means a target set out in a publicly available issuance document, measuring quantified improvements in the sustainability profile of the issuer or of one or more undertakings belonging to the same sustainability-linked bond issuer group over a predefined period of time with reference to one or more of the environmental objectives set out in Regulation (EU) 2020/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council (1) and/or to one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations relating to climate change or environmental degradation (2);‌

Sustainability Performance Target means the sustainability performance target set out in the Sustainability Linked Bond Framework.

Examples of Sustainability Performance Target in a sentence

• Any determinations of the External Verifier in the calculation of the Sustainability Performance Target shall (in the absence of manifest error) be final and binding upon all parties and the Noteholders.

• If, following an increase in the Rate of Interest after a Trigger Event, the Bank achieves the Sustainability Performance Target and the Trigger Event is no longer continuing, the Rate of Interest will remain unchanged and there will not be any decrease to the Rate of Interest.

• For the avoidance of any doubts, Bonds which are repurchased by the Company, redeemed or converted on or before the Sustainability Performance Target Date are not entitled to the payment of any Premium Payment Amount.

• For the fiscal year ending on the Target Observation Date, LafargeHolcim Ltd will publish on its website a verification assurance certificate by the External Verifier (such report, the “SPT Verification Assurance Certificate”), which shall confirm whether the Group has achieved the Sustainability Performance Target on the Target Observation Date.

• It is not an indication of future yield or any increase in the rate of interest (including, without limitation, due to the Guarantor not achieving the Sustainability Performance Target).

More Definitions of Sustainability Performance Target

Sustainability Performance Target means each of SPT 1 and SPT 2.

Sustainability Performance Target means each of Sustainability Performance Target 1, Sustainability Performance Target 2, Sustainability Performance Target 3, Sustainability Performance Target 4 and Sustainability Performance Target 5.

Sustainability Performance Target means each of the Women in Leadership Positions Sustainability Performance Target and the Industrial Water Withdrawal Sustainability Performance Target.

Sustainability Performance Target means the Issuer’s target of reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 46 per cent from 2019 levels by the Target Observation Date (as such target or 2019 levels may be adjusted pursuant to the Framework).

Sustainability Performance Target means a reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions equal to a minimum of 21% for the GHG Performance Reference Period relative to the Greenhouse Gas Emissions for the Company’s fiscal year ended May 31, 2020 baseline period, provided, however, that the calculation of reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions may exclude (A) the amount in metric tons of CO2e attributable to any single or related series of acquisitions completed since October 14, 2021 by the Company that individually, or in the aggregate in the case of a related series, represent more than 5% of the Company’s annual net sales, calculated by reference to the Company’s audited consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended May 30, 2021 or (B) the impact of any material amendment to, or change in, any applicable laws, regulations, rules, guidelines and policies applicable to the Company following October 14, 2021.

Sustainability Performance Target means each of the Scope 1 and Scope 2 Absolute GHG Emissions Percentage Target and/or the Scope 3 Absolute GHG Emissions Percentage Target, as applicable;

Sustainability Performance Target means the Sustainability Performance Target (Carbon Intensity) and/or the Sustainability Performance Target (Specific Freshwater Withdrawal), as specified hereon and each such target, the “relevant Sustainability Performance Target”;
