Sustainability Performance Target definition

Sustainability Performance Target means the percentage of the Balance of Green Loans to the Adjusted Gross Loans and Advances to Customers as of 31 December 2023, being equal to or greater than 10 per cent., which will be published on the official website of the Bank (http://www.ccb.com/) on or before the Target Observation Date. Such percentage is subject to verification by the External Verifier on a limited assurance basis as set out in the SPT Verification Assurance Confirmation;
Sustainability Performance Target. (SPT) means a target set out in a publicly available issuance document, measuring quantified improvements in the sustainability profile of the issuer or of one or more undertakings belonging to the same sustainability-linked bond issuer group over a predefined period of time with reference to one or more of the environmental objectives set out in Regulation (EU) 2020/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council (1) and/or to one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations relating to climate change or environmental degradation (2);‌
Sustainability Performance Target means the sustainability performance target set out in the Sustainability Linked Bond Framework.

  • Under the terms of the Notes, if the Company does not satisfy the Sustainability Performance Target and provide confirmation thereof to the Trustee together with a related confirmation by the External Verifier at least 30 days prior to July 16, 2026, the interest rate payable on the Notes will be increased by 25 basis points from July 16, 2026 to the Maturity Date.

  • For purposes of optional redemption, interest will be calculated after the Interest Rate Step Up Date at the Subsequent Rate of Interest, unless the Sustainability Performance Target has been satisfied and the Issuer has provided Satisfaction Notification to the Trustee in writing on the Notification Date.

  • The notes include a Sustainability Performance Target (SPT) to reduce scope 1&2 CO2 emissions by 19.1% in absolute terms by 2026 from a 2019 baseline, consistent with the Group’s SBTi approved target of 30% reduction by the end of 2030.

  • The value of the accrued and unpaid interest will be calculated using the Subsequent Interest Rate, unless the Sustainability Performance Target has been satisfied and the issuer has provided the Satisfaction Notification to the trustee, in which case the Initial Rate of Interest will be used for making the calculation.

Sustainability Performance Target means the Sustainability Performance Target (Carbon Intensity) and/or the Sustainability Performance Target (Specific Freshwater Withdrawal), as specified hereon and each such target, the “relevant Sustainability Performance Target”;
Sustainability Performance Target means each of the Scope 1 and Scope 2 Absolute GHG Emissions Percentage Target and/or the Scope 3 Absolute GHG Emissions Percentage Target, as applicable;
