Temporary Relief definition

Temporary Relief whenever used in this Agreement means an employee hired between March 15th and November 15th for the purpose of providing replacement during the vacation period. Temporary relief employees will be terminated by November 16th of each year. By October 15th of each year, the outstanding vacancies will be posted and the transferring of employees to vacant positions will be completed by November 16th consistent with Article 20 - Transferring of Employees from One Job to Another, 20.04 paragraph 2.
Temporary Relief has the meaning set forth in Section 9.5(b).
Temporary Relief means the suspension of the annual sewer service charge due to damage or destruction of the structure(s) on the customer’s land such that property improvements are uninhabitable or unusable so as to not contribute flow to the publicly owned treatment works.

  • Temporary means employment of an intermittent nature; for a limited, specified period; and undertaken during unpaid Maternity Leave or extended unpaid Maternity Leave.
