Tie Breaker. When two or more employees in the bargaining unit have the same bargaining unit seniority date, the seniority tie shall be broken by reference to their total University Service. The employee with the greatest amount of total University service shall be considered to have higher seniority. If that method does not yield results, total International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) seniority shall prevail. The employee with the greatest amount of total IUOE seniority shall be considered to have higher seniority.
