Transmission and Distribution Business definition

Transmission and Distribution Business has the meaning set forth in Section 3.05(a).
Transmission and Distribution Business means the transmission and distribution assets of the Company.
Transmission and Distribution Business means the Transmission Owner Business and the Distribution Business taken together;“Transmission System Security and Planning Standards”means either the document designated as such by the Authority or, until the Authority designates such a document, that part of the document which relates to transmission system security and planning standards in the document entitled Transmission and Distribution System Security and Planning Standards and designated by the Authority on or before SEM Go-Live, as modified from time to time in accordance with Condition 20 of the Transmission System Operator Licence;“Transmission Connection Agreement”means an agreement between the Transmission System Operator and any person in respect of connection to the All-Island Transmission Networks at entry or exit points on the transmission system;“Transmission Interface Arrangements”means the transmission interface arrangements provided for in Condition 17;“Transmission Owner Business”means the business of the Licensee (or, as permitted under Condition 14 of the Licence, of the Relevant Subsidiary) in the development, construction, ownership and maintenance of the transmission system (to the extent authorised by the Licence, including making the transmission system available for use), and in any other activity ancillary to the ownership of the transmission system, but shall not include any other business of the Licensee or any affiliate or related undertaking of the Licensee;“transmission services”means those services outlined in Condition 18;“transmission system”means the system of electric lines owned by the Licensee and comprising high voltage lines and electrical plant and meters used for conveying electricity from a generating station to a substation, from one generating station to another, and from one substation to another within the Authorised Area (including such part of theNorth/South Circuits as is owned by the Licensee) (except any such lines which the Authority may approve as being part of the Distribution System) and any other electric lines which the Authority may specify as forming part of the transmission system, but shall not include any Interconnector;“Transmission System Operator”means the person authorised, from time to time, under the Transmission System Operator Licence in its capacity as the holder of that licence;“Transmission System Operator Licence”means the licence granted under Article 10(1)(b) of the Order to SONI Limited (a body corporate registered in No...

  • Regional Transmission Enhancements means enhancements and expansions of the Transmission System that (1) a Regional Transmission Expansion Plan developed pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6 or (2) any joint planning or coordination agreement between PJM and another region or transmission planning authority set forth in Tariff, Schedule 12- Appendix B (“Appendix B Agreement”) designates one or more of the Transmission Owner(s) to construct and own or finance. Required Transmission Enhancements shall also include enhancements and expansions of facilities in another region or planning authority that meet the definition of transmission facilities pursuant to FERC’s Uniform System of Accounts or have been classified as transmission facilities in a ruling by FERC addressing such facilities constructed pursuant to an Appendix B Agreement cost responsibility for which has been assigned at least in part to PJM pursuant to such Appendix B Agreement.

  • Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) is a second frame that augments an existing Main Distribution Frame. Lines or outside cables do not terminate on the IDF.

  • Network Integration Transmission Service means the transmission service provided under Tariff, Part III.

  • Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities means all Interconnection Facilities that are not Customer Interconnection Facilities and that, after the transfer under Tariff, Attachment P, Appendix 2, section 5.5 to the Interconnected Transmission Owner of title to any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities that the Interconnection Customer constructed, are owned, controlled, operated and maintained by the Interconnected Transmission Owner on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System or interconnected distribution facilities. The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • Generation Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect a new generation facility or to increase the capacity of an existing generation facility interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region.

  • Generation Interconnection Facilities Study means a Facilities Study related to a Generation Interconnection Request.

  • Telecommunications Assets means all assets, rights (contractual or otherwise) and properties, whether tangible or intangible, used or intended for use in connection with a Telecommunications Business.

  • Merchant A.C. Transmission Facility means Merchant Transmission Facilities that are alternating current (A.C.) transmission facilities, other than those that are Controllable A.C. Merchant Transmission Facilities.
