Union Grievance Committee definition

Union Grievance Committee. The Union grievance committee shall consist of not less than (3) employees.
Union Grievance Committee. The Union Grievance Committee shall consist of not more than four (4) members, including the Union committee members and stewards will make adequate arrangements with the Company before taking time off work to attend to their functions. The Union will notify the Company in writing of the names of all stewards and committee members and any changes that may occur. The negotiating committee shall be given time off to negotiate new or revised agreements. The Company will pay for the expense of a meeting room for negotiations. When a meeting is scheduled between the Union and the Company, all Union Committee members will be compensated at their regular straight time rate for all time spent at the meeting. It is understood and agreed that this same form of payment will also be provided to the Union Grievance Committee for attendance at grievance meetings. Grievance Committee: Grievances arising at this location will be dealt with by the Union Representative.

  • In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Grievance Committee and the Union Stewards.

  • A Group Grievance shall be signed by each Employee who is grieving and a member of the Union Grievance Committee.

  • The Union Grievance Committee shall not initiate any action on an employee’s behalf without the consent of the employee, and all grievances by members of the bargaining unit shall be delivered to the Union Grievance Committee.

  • The grievor shall provide the Union Grievance Committee with a copy of the grievance.

  • In all cases, the meeting(s) shall include the Union Grievance Committee.

  • Within five (5) working days the Department Head or designate shall meet with the Union Grievance Committee (not to exceed two (2) in number) in an attempt to resolve the grievance.

  • The University Representatives and the Union Grievance Committee will then have ten (10) working days in which to meet and attempt to resolve the grievance.

  • Grievance Committee means the Grievance Committee of the Bar.

  • Credentials Committee means the committee established by the Medical Advisory Committee to review applications for appointment and reappointment to the Professional Staff and to make recommendations to the Medical Advisory Committee and if no such committee is established it shall mean the Medical Advisory Committee;

  • Peer review committee means one or more persons acting in a peer review capacity who also serve as an officer, director, trustee, agent, or member of any of the following:

  • Banning Committee means a Committee constituted for the purpose of these guidelines by the competent authority. The members of this Committee shall not, at any stage, be connected with the tendering process under reference.

  • Transition Committee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.14.

  • CSR Committee means the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Board referred to in section 135 of the Act.

  • Supervisory Committee means an oversight committee elected at a general meeting;

  • Appeal Committee means the appeal committee established by the Council in terms of section 12(3)(a);

  • Review Committee or “Committee” means a committee established pursuant to rule Chapter 67-60, F.A.C.

  • Architectural Review Committee or “ARC” shall mean the architectural review committee established by the Organization to review plans submitted to the Organization for architectural review.

  • Operating Committee means the Operating Committee of Epoch which meets frequently and is responsible for implementing the Company’s strategy, making operational decisions and overseeing the day-to-day running of the Company.

  • Party committee means any committee organized by or authorized by the

  • independent review committee means the independent review committee of the investment fund established under National Instrument 81-107 Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds;

  • OH&S Committee is referred to hereafter, read “body nominated to implement policy on site”.

  • Nomination Committee means the nomination committee of the Board established in accordance with Article 114;

  • Audit Committee or Committee means Committee of Board of Directors of the Company constituted under provisions of Listing agreement and Companies Act, 2013.

  • Joint Remediation Committee has the meaning set forth in Section II.A.2.

  • Network Operating Committee means a group made up of representatives from the Network Customer(s) and the Transmission Provider established to coordinate operating criteria and other technical considerations required for implementation of Network Integration Transmission Service under Tariff, Part III.

  • Investigation Committee means the Investigation Committee appointed by the Board under Regulation 5 of these Regulations;

  • Governance Committee means the Governance Committee of the Board.
