In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Grievance Committee and the Union Stewards.
The Union Grievance Committee shall not initiate any action on an employee’s behalf without the consent of the employee, and all grievances by members of the bargaining unit shall be delivered to the Union Grievance Committee.
The Employer shall within five (5) working days inform the Union Grievance Committee of the name of its Nominee to the Arbitration Board.
Copies shall be circulated to the grievor, the Union Grievance Committee and to Human Resources.
Upon selection and certification by the Union, the Board shall recognize a grievance representative in each building and a Union Grievance Committee of three members.

The names of the employees selected as xxxxxxx and chief xxxxxxx, and the names of the Union Representatives who may represent employees, shall be certified in writing to the employer by the Union, and the individuals so certified shall constitute the Union Grievance Committee.
