Union Grievance Officer definition

Union Grievance Officer means an Employee of the University with the authority to represent Employees and the Union in Grievance discussions with the University. Union President shall mean the President of Local #4100. University shall mean Northeastern Illinois University. University Contract Administrator shall be a University employee who is assigned responsibilities to administer the Agreement on behalf of the University. University President shall mean the chief academic and administrative officer of the University.
Union Grievance Officer means the Union Chapter President’s appointee desig- nated to represent the Union in the grievance process.

Examples of Union Grievance Officer in a sentence

  • Such grievance shall be presented in writing signed by the College President or the President's nominee, to the Union at the College concerned with a copy to the Union Grievance Officer within 20 days following the occurrence or origination of the circumstances giving rise to the grievance, commencing at the Grievance Meeting stage.
