Unit Train definition

Unit Train means a train with at least 100 Rail Tank Cars.
Unit Train means a train which is delivered in interchange to NOPB with its own motive power dedicated to the transportation, is delivered to industry (or to another connecting carrier if handled by NOPB in Intermediate Switching) in one piece, pulled from industry in one piece (in the case of Reciprocal Switching), and departs NOPB with the same freight car and motive power consist with which it was delivered to NOPB (with exception of Bad Ordered cars).
Unit Train means a train with capacity sufficient to hold the number of Tons of Fuel for delivery from the Source(s) as specified in the relevant Confirmation.

More Definitions of Unit Train

Unit Train means a train consisting of 100 or more Product-carrying railcars (not including any buffers cars or locomotives) that can be delivered and removed as a single train movement to or from the Facility without breaking the train except as may be necessary to place the railcars involved on the receipt receiving or departing tracks of the Facility.
Unit Train means approximately one hundred (100) railcars loaded together as an intact train in accordance with applicable Transportation Specifications or empty and being transported for delivery to the Source(s) as specified in the relevant Confirmation.
