Unspent Monies definition

Unspent Monies means any of the Grant which remains unspent and uncommitted at the end of a Funding Period or because of termination or breach of these Conditions; for avoidance of doubt Supplementary Funding will neither be considered as Grant or Unspent Monies;

Examples of Unspent Monies in a sentence

  • The Grant Recipient may not retain any Unspent Monies without the Authority’s prior written permission.

  • If at the end of the relevant Financial Year there are Unspent Monies, the Grant Recipient shall repay such Unspent Monies to the Authority no later than 30 days of the Authority’s request for repayment.

  • If applicable, all Unspent Monies (other than those irrevocably committed in good faith before the date of termination, in line with the Grant Funding Agreement and approved by the Authority as being required to finalise the Funded Activities) shall be returned to the Authority within 30 days of the date of receipt of a written notice of termination from the Authority.

  • If any of the Unspent Monies is held by the Grantee’s own contractors, the Grantee must recover those sums (and shall procure that it has an enforceable right to recover those sums) from its contractors.

  • The Grant Recipient shall not retain any Unspent Monies without the Authority’s prior written consent.
