Vacation rental unit definition

Vacation rental unit means the structure in which the vacation rental use is permitted to operate, pursuant to a permit issued in accordance with this chapter.
Vacation rental unit means any place, land-based or not, which provides sleeping accommodation for nine or fewer guests for which a charge is made.
Vacation rental unit means the commercial use of a detached dwelling or dwelling unit that is available for rent in its entirety for a period of 28 consecutive days or less, to provide temporary lodging to a single group of the travelling and vacationing public and is licenced by the City of Niagara Falls to carry on business.

Vacation rental unit or “Unit” shall mean any dwelling unit or other accommodation located in a single family structure, duplex structure, or multi-family structure within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of the City that is (1) duly licensed by the City for vacation rental occupancy and (2) occupied by a Guest or Guests pursuant to a written vacation rental agreement. Vacation Rental Unit shall not include any sleeping unit or other accommodation in any hotel, motel, condotel, or other establishment or accommodation included within the definition of “hotel” in Chapter 15 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama.
Vacation rental unit or “unit” means a privately owned residential dwelling, including either a single-family detached or multiple-family attached unit, apartment house, condominium, cooperative apartment, duplex, or any portion of such dwellings, rented for occupancy for dwelling, lodging, or sleeping purposes for a period of thirty consecutive days or less, other than ongoing month-to-month tenancy granted to the same renter for the same unit, or occupancy on a time-share basis. A vacation rental unit does not include a unit that is rented only occasionally (infrequently) and incidentally to the normal occupancy by the owner or the owner’s family. The terms occasionally and infrequently shall mean ten nights or less (either cumulatively or for a continuous period) in a single calendar year.
Vacation rental unit means a single family dwelling or a detached accessory residence used for the purpose of tourist accommodation and intended to be a temporary residential unit for tourists or other members of the travelling public, and meets the requirements of the Village of Slocan Zoning Bylaw.
