Version Upgrade definition

Version Upgrade means a modified or enhanced version of Licensed Product that Pearson, in its discretion, deems ready for distribution and makes generally available to those customers that pay an additional license fee for such version. A Version Upgrade will generally have a new number to the left of the decimal point in the product number. For example, a change of the product numbering from version 2.3 to version 3.0 would constitute a Version Upgrade.
Version Upgrade means any generally available version of the Licensed Software which replaces the prior version of the Licensed Software pursuant to Symantec’s then-current upgrade policies. “Cross-Grade” means choosing to replace the Licensed Software with a different Licensed Software title by exercising an option during your Maintenance term (i.e. to increase its functionality, and/or transfer it to a new operating system, hardware tier, or licensing meter).
Version Upgrade means any generally available version of the Software that replaces the prior version of the Software pursuant to Symantec’s then-current upgrade policies.

  • PalmSource’s technical support obligations under Section 8.1 (Development Support and Training) shall terminate within twelve (12) consecutive months after the release of a New Version, Upgrade or Update with respect to the prior version of the applicable PS Licensed Product.

  • Major releases are however only available by purchasing Version Upgrade as set forth in section 3.5 below.

  • Version Upgrade Options may be combined with Feature Upgrade Options.

  • As set forth in sections 3.5 above, new Major Releases of Software are not available to Licensee without additional purchase of the corresponding Version Upgrade.

  • PalmSource’s technical support obligations under Section 8.3 (Post Development Support) shall terminate within eighteen (18) consecutive months after the release of a New Version, Upgrade or Update with respect to the prior version of the applicable PS Licensed Product.


More Definitions of Version Upgrade

Version Upgrade means a major Software release that replaces the existing Software version with a new version of the Software.
Version Upgrade means any new subsequent generally available release of On-Premise Supported Product that significantly modifies the On-Premise Supported Product, bears a new first numeral (e.g. 6.0 to 7.0), and adds new or changed functionalities or features to an existing On-Premise Supported Product, for which additional license / service fees may be required.
