Water Emergency definition

Water Emergency means a temporary inability of the Contracting Jurisdiction to obtain, or to provide to its customers an adequate, safe water supply due to an inability of Toledo to provide such a supply to the Contracting Jurisdiction, or due to a failure in the Contracting Jurisdiction’s distribution system.
Water Emergency means any period of time that the Commission has determined in accordance with these Procedures that a water user in Utah, by reason of diversions in Idaho, is being deprived of water to which the water user is justly entitled.
Water Emergency means an emergency state or condition exists, as declared by the Village Administrator, under which certain water use restrictions have been ordered to minimize the degree and/or length of emergency situation.

Water Emergency means a declaration by the Governor, upon a finding by the Commissioner, that there exists or impends a water supply shortage and/or water quality emergency of a dimension which significantly impacts water supply and, thereby, endangers the public health, safety or welfare in all or part of the State.

  • Explosives or munitions emergency means a situation involving the suspected or detected presence of unexploded ordnance (UXO), damaged or deteriorated explosives or munitions, an improvised explosive device (IED), other potentially explosive material or device, or other potentially harmful military chemical munitions or device, that creates an actual or potential imminent threat to human health, including safety, or the environment, including property, as determined by an explosives or munitions emergency response specialist. Such situations may require immediate and expeditious action by an explosives or munitions emergency response specialist to control, mitigate, or eliminate the threat.
