Tubes in the driver's vicinity shall be wrapped in fireproof foam FIA approved. 16.1.4. - Cars having a carbon chassis must be fitted with a rollcage homologated with the FIA in accordance with Article 253-8.5 of Appendix J. The static load tests required for the homologation must be carried out on a cage / chassis assembly in order to verify the resistance of the mounting points.
