Common use of Intellectual property Clause in Contracts

Intellectual property. We reply on a combination of trademarks, licences agreements, non-disclosure agreements and proprietary know-how to protect our proprietary rights. We do not believe that any individual item of our intellectual property portfolio is material to our business. We employ various methods, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements with third parties, employees and consultants to protect our trade secrets and know-how. We are the holder of various national and European Community trademarks for our various brand names in the markets in which we operate. To date, no third party has brought legal or administrative proceedings challenging the validity of our trademarks.
