Common use of Registered Warrants Clause in Contracts

Registered Warrants. If (i) the Warrants are Cash Settled Warrants and Automatic Exercise is not specified as applying in the applicable Final Terms or (ii) the Warrants are Physical Delivery Warrants, any European Style Warrant with respect to which no Exercise Notice has been delivered in the manner set out in Condition 6, at or prior to 10.00 a.m., Tokyo time, on the Actual Exercise Date, shall become void. If the Warrants are Cash Settled Warrants and Automatic Exercise is specified as applying in the applicable Final Terms, any such European Style Warrant with respect to which no Exercise Notice has been delivered in the manner set out in Condition 6, at or prior to 10.00 a.m., Tokyo time, on the Actual Exercise Date, shall be automatically exercised on the Actual Exercise Date and the provisions of Condition 6(I) shall apply.
