Information about these requirements can be obtained from the relevant bodies, such as the local authorities. • You should only use your bicycle as a personal means of transport. Make sure that your bicycle is not subjected to extreme loads or exposed to heavy jolts. • Use your bicycle for the purposes it was designed for. • Have your bicycle adapted to your size and requirements by the Cortina dealer. This will enhance both your comfort and your safety. • Never adjust parts whilst cycling! • Adapt your speed to the weather conditions. • Bear in mind that you will need a longer braking distance in wet weather, frost, snow or if there is mud on the road. • Also bear in mind that you will need a longer braking distance at higher speeds and if you are carrying an extra load, such as panniers and/or children's seats. • If the road surface is slippery push your bicycle instead of riding it, and do not use the power assist with electric bicycles.
