Proposed Training Programmes Cláusulas Exemplificativas

Proposed Training Programmes. The programme to be developed includes its activities in the two intervention areas covered in the Call: Youth STEAM Impulse and Adults Impulse. The fields programmed in each of the pillars that underpin the project are integrated into the two programmes covered by the Call according to their eligibility. It should be noted that some activities to be developed will be undertaken in the context of project promotion using the management and operational structures that will be created to ensure their implementation and may not correspond to actions directly funded by the RRP. ISCTE’s project in the field of initial training of young people, in line with the provisions of the Call, contemplates exclusively the STEAM areas. The offer of degree courses will be essentially new and innovative in the field of digital technologies, promoting a strong interdisciplinary curricular approach3. Interdisciplinarity allows for a more adequate response to the nature of the problems and to the societal challenges we face today. Technological challenges are always embedded in broader human realities marked by cultural traditions, organisational, legal, and political contexts. From climate change to poverty and disease, from digital transition to industrialisation and economic growth, the challenges of our times are unavoidably human in nature and scale. The need to train and disseminate knowledge and skills in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) requires more than ever the mobilisation of SCH (social sciences and humanities) disciplinary knowledge, in terms of relevance and career perspectives. In articulation with the degree courses offer, in the field of Youth Impulse the MORE DIGITAL: Knowledge. Training. Employment includes the promotion of preparatory courses for young people who have completed secondary education along a vocational path or who need to reinforce their competences in specific learning domains with a view to strengthening their chances of success in higher education. Complementarily, the area of intervention addressing young people also includes the creation of post-graduate and masters' courses aligned with the new degree courses in order to provide further studies and specialisation paths for the students on the new degree courses.
