2022 Calendar Year Benefits Cap. 5.2.1.1 Effective January 1, 2022 (pending full ratification of the successor negotiations), the County Office will contribute a maximum of $1,175 per month towards the benefit package for those employees who participate in one of the County Office medical plans. Single dental coverage and basic life insurance will be deducted from the $1,175. The remainder will be applied towards medical coverage for the employee. After deducting the cost of single dental coverage, basic life insurance, and the cost of medical coverage for an employee only, to the extent there is any unused money from the $1,175 per month maximum contribution, it may be used to contribute to in the following descending order: (1) medical coverage for spouses, registered domestic partners, or dependents; and/or (2) dental coverage for spouses, registered domestic partners, or dependents, and/or (3) vision coverage for the employee and then vision coverage for spouses, registered domestic partners, or dependents.

  • Calendar Year Calendar Year" for the purposes of this Agreement shall mean the twelve (12) month period from January 1st to December 31st, inclusive.

  • Benefit Waiting Period Allowance (a) An employee who qualifies for and takes leave pursuant to 21.1 or 21.2 and is required by Employment Insurance to serve a one-week waiting period for Employment Insurance Maternity/Parental benefits, shall be paid a leave allowance equivalent to one week at 85% of the employee's basic pay.

  • Survivor Benefit Upon the death of a regular employee who leaves a spouse and/or dependants enrolled in the Medical Services Plan, Dental Plan and Extended Health Benefit Plan, such enrolment may continue for twelve (12) months following the employee’s death, provided the enrolled family members pay the employee’s share of the cost of the premium for the plans. The Employer shall advise the survivor of this benefit.

  • Basic Benefit Effective January 1, 2008, the basic life insurance benefit will be increased from $15,000 to $18,000 for employees. This shall be the default level of life insurance coverage, which shall be provided at no cost to the employee.

  • Plan Year The year for the purposes of the plan shall be from September 1 of one year, to August 31, of the following year, or such other years as the parties may agree to.

  • Annual Allowance The Corporation shall pay to the Executive, in cash, in a lump sum, on the Payment Date an amount equal to two times the annual allowance to which the Executive is entitled as of the date of the Date of Termination (or, if higher, as of immediately prior to the Effective Date).

  • Survivor Benefits 1. A surviving dependent of a retiree who was eligible to receive a Retiree Medical Grant, as stated above in A through C, and who qualifies for a monthly allowance shall be eligible for fifty (50) percent of the Grant authorized for the retiree.

  • Special Maternity Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who:

  • First Year Wage Adjustment Effective July 1, 2017, all salary ranges and rates shall be increased by two percent (2.0%), rounded to the nearest cent. The compensation grids for classes covered by this Agreement are contained in Appendix E-1. Employees shall convert to the new compensation grid as provided in Section 2.

  • Death Benefit Should Employee die during the term of employment, the Company shall pay to Employee's estate any compensation due through the end of the month in which death occurred.
