Outdoor Education. Unit members who participate overnight in the Outdoor Education Program at Xxxxxxx Xxxx shall receive $180 per night.
Outdoor Education. Due to the nature of the school camp program, outdoor education unit members' duties may vary in the number of workweek hours, depending upon the activities scheduled; but the average workweek hours shall not exceed forty-one (41) hours per week with pupils. The total workweek hours need not be divided equally across five (5) days. The allocation of work hours shall be arranged by the camp principal with input from the staff. Except in emergencies, outdoor education unit members shall not be required to remain on site during non-working hours.
Outdoor Education. Unit members shall be paid for the Elementary School Outdoor Education program at the rate of $175 per night duty.
Outdoor Education a. When an Outdoor Education Program is held, extra compensation shall be given to CLSMs who participate in the program in the amount of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per night for each night spent at camp, not to exceed a total of six hundred dollars ($600.00) per CLSM, per Outdoor Education session. This compensation will be paid by the Board in one sum to be included in a paycheck issued within thirty (30) days after the completion date of the Outdoor Education program in which the CLSM participated.
b. The high school CLSM responsible for recruiting, screening, and assigning student counselors for the Outdoor Education Program will receive a stipend of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) each year he/she carries out these responsibilities. This stipend will be included in a paycheck issued within thirty (30) days of the completion of the Outdoor Education Program.
Outdoor Education. For the 2011-12 school year, the District will provide up to two (2) hours of release time for non sixth grade unit members attending outdoor education camp to prepare substitute lesson plans. Release time provided by a roving substitute teacher.
9.1 Release Day to prepare for Outdoor School Camp will not be offered unless Wiseburn teachers are camp instructors.
9.2 A unit member assigned to outdoor education may exchange positions with another unit member volunteer in the event it is necessary to provide care for a member of the immediate family.
9.3 Unit members are not required to be at the outdoor education site after 4:00 p.m. or before 8:00 a.m.
9.4 If the District provides transportation, unit members may choose to use their own transportation to the outdoor education site.
9.5 If the District does not provide transportation, the unit member shall be compensated for mileage.
Outdoor Education. Unit members who receive prior approval from the Senior Administrator, Special Education, to participate in the one week live-in Outdoor Education Program shall be compensated 2 “Comp Days” or 2 days at the per diem rate, at the discretion of the Senior Administrator.
Outdoor Education. The following provisions are intended to regulate the hours of employment and work year of unit members whose worksites include the outdoor education schools. The following provisions are in lieu of and supersede any past practice, agreement or policy on matters related to hours of employment and work year of such unit members and any other matters affected by these provisions. Effective July 1, 2016, the work year for unit members assigned to outdoor education schools in positions whose work year is less than twelve (12) months shall work a fixed program year that will include a minimum of two (2) guided professional development days and shall be subject to the applicable provisions of this collective bargaining agreement for fixed program year positions. The specific work, meal and sleep times may be changed by the Office of Education so long as the change does not violate the express terms of this agreement.
Outdoor Education. No employee shall be required to spend more than four (4) nights per school year at this duty.
Outdoor Education. 35.16.2.1 Outdoor education is part of the 6th grade teaching assignment.
35.16.2.2 With site administrator approval sixth grade teachers who have attended the camp program may trade the entire week, or split the stay, with District certificated staff.
Outdoor Education. Bargaining unit members who are assigned to Outdoor Education shall be paid one hundred dollars ($100) per day in addition to their regular pay.
