Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.
Ten Month Employees Employees appointed on a regular 10-month basis (those employed for the standard academic year beginning September 1 to June 30) generally receive benefits on a pro rata basis except for holiday pay which will be granted for those holidays that fall during the academic year only.
Continuing Appointment A continuing appointment shall continue until retirement or until otherwise terminated pursuant to this Agreement.
Continuing Obligations The rights and obligations of the Parties that, by their nature, would continue beyond the expiration or termination of this Agreement, e.g., "Liability and Risk of Loss" and "Intellectual Property Rights"-related clauses shall survive such expiration or termination of this Agreement.
Continuing Obligation The Contractor's duty to indemnify continues in full force and effect, notwithstanding the expiration or early cancellation of the contract, with respect to any claims based on facts or conditions that occurred before expiration or cancellation.
Twelve Month Employees A member of the unit who is employed on a twelve (12) month 19 basis shall be allowed paid vacation leave, exclusive of holidays, as follows:
Continuing Security This Security is a continuing security and will extend to the ultimate balance of the Secured Liabilities, regardless of any intermediate payment or discharge in whole or in part.
Rate of Pay on Appointment from Layoff List When an individual is appointed from a layoff list to a position in the same class in which the person was previously employed, the person shall be paid at the same salary step at which such employee was being paid at the time of layoff.
Month Employees TEN (10) MONTH EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE COMPLETED ONE (1) YEAR OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE AND WHO HAVE ACCUMULATED TWENTY (20) DAYS OF SICK LEAVE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED IN THE USLB.
Continuing as Plan Sponsor Nothing in this Disaffiliation Agreement shall prevent Local Church, after the Disaffiliation Date, from continuing to sponsor benefit plans from the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits, to the extent permitted by federal law, and provided that Local Church has not expressly resolved that it no longer shares common religious bonds with The United Methodist Church.
