Common use of Absence for Jury Duty Clause in Contracts

Absence for Jury Duty. a. Absence for jury duty shall not count in calculating absence limitations under other sections. The salary paid by the Xxxxxx City School District under such absence shall be at the regular rate. b. An employee called for jury duty must report daily to the immediate supervisor as to the jury's schedule for the following work day. c. An employee will be released from all school obligations the entire day of a jury summons, even if the jury duty lasts only a portion of that day. d. The employee may retain any pay given by the court.
