Common use of Absorbed Allowances Clause in Contracts

Absorbed Allowances. The parties note that the following allowances are not payable under this Agreement as those allowances have been absorbed in previous negotiations:

The parties note that the following allowances are not payable under this Agreement as those allowances they have been absorbed in previous negotiations:: • First aid allowance; • Health surveyors allowance; • Meal allowance (except for Civic Centre staff who are directed to work beyond their ordinary hours); and • Driver’s licence reimbursement.
