Accessible Housing Units. At least two (2) of the Income-Restricted Units shall be shall be Type A accessible under standards described in the American National Standard Institute’s “Accessible and Usable Building Facilities” (ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003), as provided in the current applicable Accessible Standards as adopted by the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. The Borrower covenants and agrees to diligently market the “accessible” Income-Restricted Units to persons with disabilities according to the Borrower’s Affirmative Marketing Plan.

Accessible Housing Units. Borrower covenants and agrees that for the duration of the AHIF Affordability Compliance Period:
Accessible Housing Units. The Housing Development shall be constructed in accordance with the 2010 ADA Standards to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities. Accessibility retrofit of the development shall take place concurrently with Project rehabilitation. The following types of Accessible Housing Units shall be prioritized for persons with disabilities who have a disability-related need for the accessibility features of the unit.
