Cost Savings. Developer shall work cooperatively with Architect, Construction Manager, subcontractors and District, in good faith, to identify appropriate opportunities to reduce the Project costs and promote cost savings. Any identified cost savings from the Guaranteed Maximum Price shall be identified by Developer, and approved in writing by the District. In the event Developer realizes a savings on any aspect of the Project, such savings shall be added to the Contingency and expended consistent with the Contingency. In addition, any portion of Allowance remaining after completion of the Project shall be added to the Contingency. If any cost savings require revisions to the Construction Documents, Developer shall work with the District and Architect with respect to revising the Construction Documents and, if necessary, obtaining the approval of DSA with respect to those revisions. Developer shall be entitled to an adjustment of Contract Time for delay in completion caused by any cost savings adopted by District pursuant to Exhibit D, if requested in writing before the approval of the cost savings.

At the District’s discretion, any reasonable cost incurred by District and/or the Contractor for those revisions may be paid for out of the identified savings before it is deducted from the Guaranteed Project Cost. Contractor shall be entitled to an extension of Contract Time equal to the delay in Project Completion caused by any cost savings adopted by District, if requested in writing before the approval of the cost savings.
Cost Savings. The ability to perform the work at a reduced cost that is not achieved by lower wages and benefits paid by a contractor.
6.3.1.1 If the solicitation is initiated based solely upon cost savings, the City will provide all available cost comparison data to the Union(s) concerned. Available cost comparison data must include City employee base wages and City employee and employer contributions in health, welfare, and pension costs for the classification(s) that would normally perform the work. The purpose of this subsection is for comparison only and shall not be considered a requirement upon a third party contractor to provide these wages.
Cost Savings. After the Project has been accepted by the Sponsor and Authority as complete, any positive difference between the cost, as listed in Attachments to this Agreement or approved by the Authority pursuant to Section 1.2, and the total amount invoiced to the Authority shall revert to the Measure A program for re-programming by the Authority on other eligible projects.

For purposes of subsection (a) above, “Cost Savings” shall mean any remaining undisbursed amounts shown in any Budget as allocated to any line item, or any funds allocated to said line item that exceed the amount of the subcontract for said line item either (a) upon completion of and disbursement for all matters covered by said line item in such Budget, or (b) upon the execution by Borrower and an approved subcontractor of a subcontract for the performance of work or furnishing of materials for said line item in an amount that is less than the Approved Line Item Cost for said item.

Cost Savings. “Excess Proceeds” shall mean the sum of all sources of financing received by Borrower for the Xxxxxxxxx Garden 1 Rehabilitation Project, less the sum of money (i) actually used for the Xxxxxxxxx Garden 1 Rehabilitation Project as documented to the reasonable satisfaction of the County Manager or his designee, (ii) that will be used to pay for work related to the Xxxxxxxxx Garden 1 Rehabilitation Project that has been contracted for but not yet performed, as documented to the reasonable satisfaction of the County Manager or his designee, and (iii) budgeted for use in the construction budget approved by the County Manager or his designee, but not yet expended due to no fault of the Borrower, as documented to the reasonable satisfaction of the County Manager or his designee. The calculation of Excess Proceeds shall be made on the date that VHDA issues the Borrower’s United States Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service Low-Income Housing Credit Allocation and Certification (Form 8609). Excess Proceeds shall not be distributed until the VHDA Gap Loan has been fully repaid. The County Board shall receive fifty percent (50%) and the Borrower shall receive fifty percent (50%) of the Excess Proceeds. The County Board shall apply one hundred percent (100%) of its remitted Excess Proceeds toward payment on the outstanding balance of the AHIF Loan.
