Accident, Illness or Pregnancy. Should the Artist be obliged to terminate his/her CTA Engagement Contract due to an incapacitating accident or illness or due to pregnancy, he/she will not be required to give notice and there will be no penalty payment. He/she must inform the Theatre of the accident or illness or pregnancy as soon as possible and provide a doctor's certificate upon request.

  • Pregnancy This agreement can be cancelled if you become pregnant upon the appropriate written proof being given. Please note – ANY Cancellation for the above reasons will not be effected until the appropriate proof is provided and received (in writing or via email) by Harlands or the club.

  • Pregnancy Leave (a) Pregnancy leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, except where amended in this provision.

  • Personal Illness or Disability The bargaining unit member may use all or any portion of his leave to recover from his/her own illness or disability.

  • Accident Investigations When an accident occurs involving the equipment or personnel of a Supporting Agency, the Protecting Agency shall immediately notify the jurisdictional and supporting agencies. As soon as practical, the Protecting Agency shall initiate an investigation of the accident. The investigation shall be conducted by a team of representatives from the affected agencies, as appropriate. As appropriate, the Parties agree that the Protecting Agency will provide notification of the accident to the National Transportation Safety Board, or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and other appropriate Agencies.

  • Accident Investigation All accidents resulting in a fatality or injury requiring medical treatment will be investigated by one representative of the IBEW and one representative of the Employer. The accident investigation report will be submitted to:

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL) - An employee is eligible for continuation of MPS in accordance with applicable law.

  • Pregnancy Sick Leave Leave for illness of a Nurse arising out of or associated with a Nurse’s pregnancy prior to the commencement of, or the ending of, pregnancy leave granted in accordance with Article 13.00, may be granted sick leave in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement.

  • Safety, breakdowns and accidents 17.5.1 The Concessionaire shall ensure safe conditions for the Users and passengers, and in the event of unsafe conditions, it shall follow the relevant operating procedures and undertake removal of obstruction and debris without delay. Such procedures shall conform to the provisions of this Agreement, Applicable Laws, Applicable Permits and Good Industry Practice.

  • Accident INVESTIGATIONS Whenever an accident occurs involving the equipment or personnel of a Supporting Party, the Protecting Party shall take immediate steps to notify the Supporting Party that an accident has occurred. As soon as practical, the Protecting Party shall initiate an investigation of the accident. A team made up of appropriate representatives from all affected agencies shall conduct the investigation. Costs for investigation personnel are Party-specific and will be borne by the sending Party. Other accident or incident investigation costs are the fiscal responsibility of the Party (ies) that has jurisdiction and/or investigative responsibility. The sharing of information between Parties on accident investigations and their findings and probable causes is a valuable tool for safety and must be encouraged.

  • Illness or Disability If, because of Employee’s illness or other disability for a continuous period of more than 45 days, Employee is unable to render the services required by the Company as provided herein, the Company may terminate Employee’s employment hereunder by written notice to Employee at least 30 days in advance of such termination. Upon such termination Employee shall not be entitled to any further payments of any nature, except for payment of (a) any earned but unpaid Annual Base Salary, (b) any unpaid bonuses and (c) unreimbursed business expenses (collectively, “Payable Amounts”). All Payable Amounts shall become due and payable on the date of such termination.
