Pregnancy definition

Pregnancy means carrying a child, resulting childbirth, miscarriage and non-elective abortion. The Plan considers Pregnancy as a Sickness for the purpose of determining benefits.
Pregnancy includes pregnancy, childbirth, and medical conditions related to pregnancy and childbirth; and (2) "Service in the uniformed services" includes membership, application for membership, performance of service, application for service, or obligation for service in the uniformed services.
Pregnancy means a physical state whereby a woman presently bears a child or children in the womb, prior to but likely to result in childbirth, miscarriage and/or non-elective abortion. Pregnancy is considered a Sickness for the purpose of determining benefits under this Plan.

  • Pregnancy leave shall be a maximum of seventeen (17) unpaid weeks of which eleven (11) weeks may be taken prior to delivery.
