Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits. Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month they are in pay status. Employees who are in pay status for less than a full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours shall accrue sick leave with pay on a prorated basis. An SEIU Local 503, OPEU-represented temporary employee appointed to a status position in any SEIU Local 503, OPEU bargaining unit in the same Agency without a break-in-service of more than fifteen (15) calendar days, shall accrue sick leave credits from the initial date of temporary appointment. An SEIU Local 503, OPEU-represented temporary employee appointed to a status position in a different SEIU Local 503, OPEU-represented Agency without a break-in- service shall accrue sick leave credits from the initial date of the temporary appointment provided the employee has worked as a temporary employee for the same Agency for six (6) consecutive calendar months or more.
