Common use of Acknowledged Holidays Clause in Contracts

Acknowledged Holidays. For the purposes of this Agreement, the following are acknowledged as statutory holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day BC Day Family Day or days in lieu of these listed holidays and any other public holidays and any other public holiday gazetted, declared or proclaimed by the Federal Government or the Government of the Province of British Columbia.
