Common use of Acting Supervisors Clause in Contracts

Acting Supervisors. The Company agrees to inform the Union in a timely manner when it intends to use a member of the bargaining unit as an acting supervisor. If the employee remains as an acting supervisor for more than six (6) consecutive months, the employee shall be reclassified to management or returned to his or her bargaining unit position. Deviations shall require the consent of the Union.
