Administrative Secretaries, Secretaries, and Clerks a. The secretarial work year will include all weeks that a secretary is under contract. b. The secretary will be at his/her appointed station, except on holidays and vacations as hereinafter designated, and on Saturdays and Sundays of the work week, and on days when school is closed for inclement weather. c. The work year of twelve-month (12) secretaries will begin on July 1st and end on June 30th following. d. The work year of eleven-month (11) secretaries will begin on August 1st and end on June 30th following. e. The work year of ten-month (10) secretaries will be ten (10) consecutive calendar months long.

The secretarial work day will not exceed four hundred and eighty (480) consecutive minutes, and b. will include a sixty (60) minute duty-free lunch, and two (2) fifteen (15) minute work breaks, one (1) each morning and afternoon. c. Secretaries will be dismissed sixty (60) minutes after teacher dismissal on the work days prior to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Good Friday. d. During an eight (8) week period occurring during the summer recess, the secretarial work day will consist of four hundred and fifty (450) consecutive minutes, including a sixty (60) minute duty-free lunch. Lunch schedules will be at the discretion of the building administrators.

  • Secretaries The regular work year for secretaries will range from 200 days to 220 days exclusive of holidays, and each secretary will be assigned to one of the following work schedules. Distinction between Administrative Secretary and Office Secretary is used to determine length of work year.

  • Assistant Secretaries Except as may be otherwise provided in this Agreement, Assistant Secretaries, if there are any, shall perform such duties and have such powers as from time to time may be assigned to them by the Member, the President, any Vice President, if there are any appointed, or the Secretary, and in the absence of the Secretary or in the event of his disability or refusal to act, shall perform the duties of the Secretary, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the Secretary.

  • Assistant Treasurers The Assistant Treasurers will, in the absence or disability of the Treasurer, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Treasurer and will perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Managers may from time to time prescribe.

  • Assistant Treasurers and Assistant Secretaries The assistant treasurers and assistant secretaries shall perform such duties as shall be assigned to them by the treasurer or the secretary, respectively, or by the chairman and chief executive officer, the president or the Management Committee.

  • Vice Presidents The Vice Presidents will, subject to the control of the Member, perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the President and will have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of vice president of corporations, and will have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Member. In the case of the death, disability or absence of the President, a Vice President shall perform and be vested with all the duties and powers of the President until the Member appoints a new President.

  • Secretary and Assistant Secretaries The secretary shall record all proceedings of the shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust. In the absence of the secretary from any meeting of shareholders or Trustees, an assistant secretary, or if there be none or he or she is absent, a temporary clerk chosen at the meeting shall record the proceedings thereof in the aforesaid books.

  • Treasurer and Assistant Treasurers The Board, in its discretion, may elect a Treasurer and one or more Assistant Treasurers. The Treasurer shall keep or cause to be kept the books of account of the Company and shall render statements of the financial affairs of the Company in such form and as often as required by this Agreement, the Board or a President. The Treasurer, subject to the order of the Board, shall have the custody of all funds and securities of the Company. The Treasurer shall perform all other duties commonly incident to his office and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as this Agreement, the Board or a President, shall designate from time to time. The Assistant Treasurers shall exercise the power of the Treasurer during that Officer’s absence or inability or refusal to act. Each of the Assistant Treasurers shall possess the same power as the Treasurer to sign all certificates, contracts, obligations and other instruments of the Company. If no Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is appointed and serving or in the absence of the appointed Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, a President or such other Officer as the Board shall select, shall have the powers and duties conferred upon the Treasurer.

  • President and Vice Presidents The president shall be the chief executive officer of the Trust. The president shall, subject to the control of the Trustees, have general charge and supervision of the business of the Trust. Any vice president shall have such duties and powers as shall be designated from time to time by the Trustees.

  • Appointments to Fill Vacancies in Trustee’s Office The Company, whenever necessary to avoid or fill a vacancy in the office of Trustee, will appoint, in the manner provided in Section 7.09, a Trustee, so that there shall at all times be a Trustee hereunder.

  • Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.
