Afterschool Program. The afterschool program operates from September through May with programming of- fered Monday-Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Youth voice and choice is a priority of the program, and to this end, each day from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. youth have a choice about the activities they wish to participate in, to include homework assistance, outdoor play and games, computer lab, or indoor games and activities. At 4:30 p.m., youth are divided into five groups by developmental age (younger to older) and eat a meal together. From 5:00-6:30 p.m. youth work in their groups through structured leader-directed learning activities according to the monthly theme, objectives, and tactics. An annual science fair is held as part of a monthly theme during the afterschool program.
Afterschool Program transportation of students who stay after the regular school day to participate in an educational program. These shall be awarded to the most senior driver available: • who requests the work for the duration of the program; and • for whom the assignment will not result in overtime. The assigned driver will not be compensated in the event that the driver does not perform the transportation for such program.
Afterschool Program. The second component is the Supervisionfor Children. SF will provide supervisors for the children of the program participants. SF will, in conjunction with School Board, develop an enriching curriculum for Children and provide materials needed to implement the curriculum.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Educational Program A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST ▇▇▇▇ MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3). These characteristics are subject to modification with the District’s written approval:

  • HEALTH PROGRAM 3701 Health examinations required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer and shall be at the expense of the Employer. 3702 Time off without loss of regular pay shall be allowed at a time determined by the Employer for such medical examinations and laboratory tests, provided that these are performed on the Employer’s premises, or at a facility designated by the Employer. 3703 With the approval of the Employer, a nurse may choose to be examined by a physician of her/his own choice, at her/his own expense, as long as the Employer receives a statement as to the fitness of the nurse from the physician. 3704 Time off for medical and dental examinations and/or treatments may be granted and such time off, including necessary travel time, shall be chargeable against accumulated income protection benefits.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Pilot Programs The Employer may develop voluntary pilot programs to test the acceptability of various risk management programs. Incentives for participation in such programs may include limited short-term improvements to the benefits outlined in this Article. Implementation of such pilot programs is subject to the review and approval of the Joint Labor-Management Committee on Health Plans.
