Alcohol Policy. The renter is allowed to serve alcoholic beverages except under the following circumstances: It is prohibited by law to accept money for alcohol, or to sell tickets to an event where alcohol is present unless a Special License for Sale of Beer and Wine only and/or Beer, Wine and Spirits for consumption on the premises is obtained by the Renter from the State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The Renter (if accepting money for alcohol, or to sell tickets to an event where alcohol is present) must purchase and provide proof of purchase of: 1) a Liquor License and/or 2) a Liquor Liability Bond to The Charter Township of Xxxxxxx in a timely fashion (one week prior to rental) Due the increased risk of liability at events at which alcohol is being served, the Renter agrees that not only will the Renter obtain all necessary insurance, but in addition thereto the Renter specifically agrees to hold the Charter Township of Xxxxxxx and the Xxxxxxx Township Downtown Development Authority, its officers or agents harmless from any and all claims arising out of the rental of the Marquee of Xxxxxxx Township premises and / or the serving of alcoholic beverages. The Renter further agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Charter Township of Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxxx Township Downtown Development Authority its officers, and agents from any and all claims and/or causes of actions that might arise out of the consumption of alcohol or the use of the premises, regardless of whether or not said claim has any basis in law or equity. Alcohol Policy. a) The renter Barns at Xxxxxxxx Station Vineyards wine to be used for the wedding event must be purchased one month prior to the event to ensure availability of the wines you have selected and for you to receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount on your order. A minimum purchase of wine is allowed to serve required. (One case of The Barns at Xxxxxxxx Station wine for every 25 drinking persons must be purchased). All wine served must be purchased from The Barns at Xxxxxxxx Station Vineyards. All wine purchases made the day of your event will be sold at regular retailer price.
b) If you plan on bringing beer or other alcoholic beverages except under the following circumstances: It is prohibited by law to accept money for alcohol, or to sell tickets to an event where alcohol is present unless a Special License for Sale of Beer and Wine only and/or Beer, Wine and Spirits for consumption on onto the premises is obtained by for your event, a license through the Renter from Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control will need to be on file with the State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The Renter (if accepting money for alcohol, or to sell tickets to an event where alcohol is present) must purchase and provide proof of purchase of:
1) a Liquor License and/or
2) a Liquor Liability Bond to The Charter Township of Xxxxxxx in a timely fashion (Barns at Hamilton Station one week prior to rentalyour event. Alcohol beverages may not be self-served during the event. The use of a keg for beer is not allowed. Your caterer will need to provide staff to serve the Barns’ wine, and to provide beer and alcohol service. No alcohol shots will be permitted at the event including the Bride and Groom.
c) Due the increased risk of liability at events at which alcohol is being served, the Renter agrees and warrants that not only will there shall be no consumption of alcohol by persons under the age of twenty-one (21). Renter obtain all necessary insurance, but in addition thereto the Renter specifically agrees to hold the Charter Township refuse to allow alcohol to be served to, or consumed by any persons who is visibly intoxicated or under 21 years of Xxxxxxx age. Renter or Renter’s Contact shall monitor all service, if any, of alcohol and the Xxxxxxx Township Downtown Development Authority, its officers or agents harmless from any and all claims arising out of the rental of the Marquee of Xxxxxxx Township premises and / or the serving of alcoholic beverages. The specifically acknowledges that Renter further agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Charter Township of Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxxx Township Downtown Development Authority its officers, and agents from any and all claims and/or causes of actions that might arise out of is solely liable for the consumption of any alcohol by any persons on the premises and that such liability shall extend to any aspect regarding the consumption of alcohol. The Barns at Xxxxxxxx Station’s Event Coordinator and other staff may ask guests for identification to verify age and reserve the right to ask the entire party to leave if (1) a minor is consuming alcohol; (2) an adult is providing alcohol to a minor; (3) a guest or the use of guests appear(s) intoxicated and refuses to leave the premises.
d) Due to alcohol consumption at the event, regardless the Barns at Xxxxxxxx Station strongly urges the Renter provide transportation services for Renter’s guests. A list of whether or not said claim has any basis in law or equity. The Renter agrees to promptly notify the Xxxxxxx Township Downtown Development Authority of any claim, provide all costs necessary in defending the claim, including but not limited to attorney fees and other costs of defense. ▪ Alcohol transportation vendors will be served at provided, upon request, for your event: Yes No ▪ I will be accepting money for alcohol: Yes No ▪ I will obtain Liquor License: Yes No ▪ I will obtain Liquor Liability Bond: Yes Nouse.
