Alternative Format Policy. It is the policy of the Gateway Regional School District to provide, when possible, documents, publications, and materials used by the program in the alternate format to persons who are unable to read print due to a disability. It is the responsibility of the Gateway Regional School District to provide alternative formats, upon request, at no charge. Large print materials can be made available on an as needed basis for visually impaired students. Consultation services, books on tape, audiotapes, and Braille transcription are provided through the Massachusetts Association of the Blind (000) 000-0000. The preferred alternate format will be documented in the child's IEP or Section 504 Plan. The procedure for individuals, other than students, who request an alternate format is:

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Alternative Work Schedules Employees may request alternative work schedules such as a nine (9) day - 80 hour two week schedule or a four (4) day - 40 hour week schedule. Management will respond to an employee's request within 15 calendar days. Any changes from existing work schedules will be based on the needs of the service as determined by Management. Employees covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act will not be placed on alternate work schedules that mandate the payment of overtime under the Act.

  • Alternative Forms of Notice Any notice or request required or permitted to be given by a Party to the other Parties and not required by this Agreement to be given in writing may be so given by telephone, facsimile or email to the telephone numbers and email addresses set out in Appendix F hereto.

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.
