Accrual Rate Compensatory time for employees will accrue at the rate of one and one-half hours for each one hour of overtime worked.
Payment of Annual Leave (a) If an employee takes annual leave during a period, the annual leave shall be paid at the employee’s ordinary pay immediately before the period begins.
Accrual Rates All eligible employees shall accrue vacation pay according to the following rates:
Calculation of Annual Leave Pay Annual leave shall be paid at the employee’s ordinary weekly wage rate for ordinary hours for the period of annual leave (excluding shift allowances and weekend payments but including leading hand allowance); plus an amount equal to 17.5% of the amount
Interest Rate The LHIN may charge the HSP interest on any amount owing by the HSP at the then current interest rate charged by the Province of Ontario on accounts receivable.
Mileage Rate The mileage rate for authorized travel – based on State of Florida rates on the Effective Date of this Agreement – is $0.445 per mile.
Maximum Accrual Vacation credit may be accumulated to a maximum that can be earned in four (4) years. Further accumulation will not continue when the maximum is reached. When an employee’s vacation reaches the maximum level, and if the employee has been denied vacation during the twelve (12) months, the employee will be paid for the time denied but no more than eighty (80) hours in a pay period. Cashing out of Annual Leave (a) Paid Annual Leave must not be cashed out except in accordance with an agreement under clause 41.8.
Payment of Annual Leave on Termination On the termination of their employment, an employee will be paid their untaken or pro-rata annual leave.
