Common use of Amount of Paid Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Amount of Paid Sick Leave. a) Sick leave shall be earned at the rate of one and one-half (1½) days for every month an employee is employed. b) An employee on a general leave pursuant to Article 22.18 or educational leave Article 22.20 shall maintain the amount of sick leave she had earned prior to her leave, but shall not earn sick leave during the period of the employee’s general or educational leave.
