Common use of Annual and Sick Leave Usage Clause in Contracts

Annual and Sick Leave Usage. Employees who qualify for FMLA to care for their own serious health condition or the serious health condition of a child under age eighteen (18) are required to first utilize accrued sick leave. Should the employee’s sick leave balance be exhausted, employees will be required to utilize accrued annual leave. Any time for which employees do not have accrued sick leave or annual leave will be leave without pay.
