Common use of Annual Vacation Cancellation Clause in Contracts

Annual Vacation Cancellation. (a) If the Home unilaterally cancels a Nurse’s vacation which had previous approval and such cancellation results in a Nurse’s forfeiting on a deposit on a vacation package, the Home shall reimburse the Nurse for the lost deposit providing the Nurse can show proof of such loss and that the Nurse had done everything reasonably possible to reduce or eliminate that loss and, in addition, the Nurse must advise the Home that a potential claim exists at the time the Home proposes to change the vacation.
