Antenna Offices. The Agency, in consultation with the relevant authorities of the Republic of Albania, may establish antenna offices on the territory of the Republic of Albania to facilitate and improve coordination of operational activities and to ensure the effective management of the human and technical resources of the Agency. The location of the antenna office shall be established by the Agency, taking into account the agreement of the Republic of Albania. The antenna offices shall be established in accordance with operational needs and remain operational for the period of time necessary for the Agency to carry out operational activities in the Republic of Albania and the neighbouring region. Subject to the agreement of the Republic of Albania, that period of time may be prolonged by the Agency. Each antenna office shall be managed by a representative of the Agency, appointed by the executive director as head of the antenna office who shall oversee the overall work of the office. The antenna offices shall, where applicable: provide operational and logistical support and ensure the coordination of the Agency’s activities in the operational areas concerned; provide operational support to the Republic of Albania in the operational areas concerned; monitor the activities of the border management teams and regularly report to the Agency's headquarters; cooperate with the Republic of Albania on all issues related to the practical implementation of the operational activities organised by the Agency in the Republic of Albania, including any additional issues that might have occurred in the course of those activities; support the coordinating officer in his or her cooperation with the Republic of Albania on all issues related to their contribution to operational activities organised by the Agency and, where necessary, liaise with the Agency's headquarters; support the coordinating officer and fundamental rights monitor(s) assigned to monitor an operational activity in facilitating, where necessary, the coordination and communication between the border management teams and the relevant authorities of the Republic of Albania as well as any relevant tasks; organise logistical support relating to the deployment of the team members and the deployment and use of technical equipment; provide all other logistical support regarding the operational area for which a given antenna office is responsible, with a view to facilitating the smooth running of the operational activities organised...

  • Relocations When an employee is permanently reassigned or transferred to a new work location thirty-five (35) or more miles away from his/her present work location to accommodate the State's operational needs, he/she shall be reimbursed for actual reasonable and necessary moving expenses by common carrier. If the State requires an employee to live in a specified zone or district after initial assignment, the employee will be reimbursed for actual reasonable and necessary moving expenses by common carrier. An employee will not be permanently reassigned or transferred for disciplinary or arbitrary or capricious reasons. Unless specific requirements dictate otherwise, transfers and reassignments shall be on a voluntary basis from among qualified employees. The most senior employee who is qualified to perform the duties of the position shall be entitled to the transfer or reassignment. If there are no qualified volunteers, the least senior qualified employee shall be transferred. In the event the least senior qualified employee has children of elementary or secondary school age, he/she shall be exempted from this provision in the event no schools are available in the new assignment area or if suitable educational arrangements for such children cannot be mutually agreed to. When an employee is reassigned to a new work location under this Article, he/she will have the option, in lieu of relocation, to have recall rights under the Seniority Article of this Agreement as though he/she were laid off as of the effective date of the reassignment. The State shall provide ninety (90) days advance notice of such relocations whenever possible, and in the event that less than ninety (90) days notice is provided, the State will pay reasonable temporary relocation expenses, pursuant to the Lodging and Meals Article of this Agreement, for any period of less than ninety (90) days notice. This Article does not apply to employees relocating in connection with any reduction in force or to employees in job classes which traditionally have required performance of duties at other than a fixed location.

  • Sites 11.1 We will not be liable for any rents, rates, taxes, charges or impositions at any time payable in respect of the site(s).
