Common use of Application and Examination Leave Clause in Contracts

Application and Examination Leave. An employee may be permitted reasonable time off with pay during his/her shift to make an application and/or take an examination for promotional or transfer opportunities within the City, when it is not possible or practical to do so during non-working time.
