Common use of Application of Seniority Clause in Contracts

Application of Seniority. (a) Seniority for the purpose of this Collective Agreement shall be used in determining priorities for preference of vacation periods, lay-off and recall, transfers and promotions in accordance with Article 12.01. (b) Temporary and casual nurses who are hired into regular part-time or regular full -time positions will be credited with seniority accumulated in their temporary or casual positions.

(a) Seniority for the purpose of this Collective Agreement shall only be applicable within each Plasma Centre, when used in determining priorities for preference of vacation periods, lay-off and recall, transfers transfers, and promotions in accordance with Article 12.01. Any nurse who posts into another location covered by this Collective Agreement shall maintain their full service and seniority. (b) Temporary and casual nurses who are hired into regular part-time or regular full -time positions will be credited with seniority accumulated in their temporary or casual positions.

Application of Seniority. (a) Seniority for the purpose of this Collective Agreement shall only be applicable within each Plasma Centre, when used in determining priorities for preference of vacation periods, lay-off and recall, transfers transfers, and promotions in accordance with Article 12.0112. 01. Any nurse who posts into another location covered by this Collective Agreement shall maintain their full service and seniority. (b) Temporary and casual nurses who are hired into regular part-time or regular full -time positions will be credited with seniority accumulated in their temporary or casual positions.
