ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES. RCO shall administratively review, and Sponsor shall assist RCO in such review, For all funded projects, including land acquisitions for the purpose of capital construction or renovation, not undergoing Section 106 review under the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, RCO shall review and, if it deems appropriate, confer with the Washington State Department of Archeology and Historic Preservation, tribes, and with any other party/parties that have an interest in, or responsibility for, Project review and protection of archeological, cultural, and historical resources, to determine potential impacts to archeological, cultural and historic resources and plans for protection of such resources. The Sponsor shall cooperate in all such reviews.
