Assignment and Recruiting Procedures. 1. The Office of the ED shall make the officiating assignments for all interscholastic athletics contests on all levels for the member schools of the AC. Only those Section VIII/BOCES officials who are approved and certified by the OCC Section VIII/BOCES recognized officials’ association in that sport will receive assignments. After consultation with the president of the OCC, the president of the official’s association, the Section reserves the right to remove assignment(s) at any time for just cause.
