ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSFER OF CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES. The superintendent is authorized to transfer or assign certificated employees to any position for which the employee is qualified. Assignments will be based on the qualifications of the employee, availability of other qualified personnel, the desires of the employee, as well as the philosophy and needs of the district. When a certified position becomes available, the vacancy will be posted within and may be posted outside of the district. Any interested employees will submit a written statement of their desire to be considered for the position. Current employees applying for a vacancy will be given due consideration as to filling the vacancy. If a change of assignment or building is determined to be in the best interest of the District, the employee will be notified as soon as possible and have an opportunity to express his or her preferences. Reasonable efforts will be made to not involuntarily transfer a certified employee more than one year in a row or consecutive transfers. The superintendent’s decision regarding the assignment will be final. Expires June 30, 2022

ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSFER OF CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES. The superintendent is authorized to transfer or assign certificated employees to any position for which the employee is qualified. Assignments will be based on the qualifications of the employee, availability of other qualified personnel, the desires of the employee, as well as the philosophy and needs of the district. Transfers and changes in assignment may be made at the initiative of the superintendent of schools, other administrative staff members, or at the request of the employee. The change will be contingent upon approval by the superintendent in consultation with the building principal(s). Vacancy When a certified position becomes available the vacancy will be posted within district for five (5) working days before being posted outside the district. Any interested employees will submit a written statement of their desire to be considered for the position. Employees wishing to change assignments or buildings for the subsequent year may submit a written request to transfer to their building principal and superintendent by March 1. The request should include the grade and/or subject to which the employee desires to be assigned and the school or schools to which he/she desires to be transferred. Current employees requesting a transfer will be given due consideration as to filling the vacancy.

  • Assignment and Transfers Except as the Committee may otherwise permit pursuant to the Plan, the rights and interests of the Participant under this Agreement may not be sold, assigned, encumbered or otherwise transferred except, in the event of the death of the Participant, by will or by the laws of descent and distribution. In the event of any attempt by the Participant to alienate, assign, pledge, hypothecate, or otherwise dispose of the Stock Units or any right hereunder, except as provided for in this Agreement, or in the event of the levy or any attachment, execution or similar process upon the rights or interests hereby conferred, the Company may terminate the Stock Units by notice to the Participant, and the Stock Units and all rights hereunder shall thereupon become null and void. The rights and protections of the Company hereunder shall extend to any successors or assigns of the Company and to the Company’s parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates. This Agreement may be assigned by the Company without the Participant’s consent.

  • Transfers and Reassignments Definitions "Headquarters" means a locality and its contiguous territory in and from which an employee normally works as provided in Attachment B of this Agreement.
