Association Notification. Except as hereinafter provided, the Board shall notify the Association of a contemplated RIF n later than February 1st of the year in which such RIF is to be implemented. If the RIF is by reason of the return to duty of a regular teacher following a Board-approved leave of absence, such notice shall be given within five days following Board action. Any such notice shall be in writing and shall include the proposed positions to be affected, the proposed time schedule, and the reasons for the proposed action.
