Common use of Association Notification Clause in Contracts

Association Notification. When it appears to the Fire Chief and/or Labor Relations Manager that the Board of Supervisors may take action which will result in the layoff of employees represented by the Association, the Labor Relations Manager shall notify the Association of the possibility of such layoffs and shall meet and confer with it regarding the implementation of the action. The District agrees to give employees fourteen (14) calendar days notice of layoff except in case of emergency.
