Common use of Attending Court Clause in Contracts

Attending Court. 34.1 Employees who lose time by reason of being required to attend court, Xxxxxxx's inquest, or to appear as witnesses, in cases in which the Company is involved, will be paid for time so lost. If no time is lost they will be paid from the time required to report until actually released at one and one-half times the hourly rate, with a minimum of two hours. Necessary actual expenses while away from his position will be allowed upon production of receipts. Any fee or mileage accruing shall be assigned to the Company.
