Common use of Awarding of Special Increases Clause in Contracts

Awarding of Special Increases. A Special Increase may be awarded to an employee who has demonstrated excellence in one or more of the categories described in Article 17.2. A Special Increase may be based on accumulated performance over a period of years which, when regarded altogether, may merit a Special Increase. The award of Special Increases must take into account the variability of an employee’s assignment of duties (Article 11) across employees in the academic unit.
