Awards Process. A. The VA, the UAN and employees each have important roles in identifying RNs who may be deserving of recognition and awards to their respective supervisors. The awards and recognition program will consider recommendations from the Union and employees. RNs will be encouraged to submit suggestions and to assist in the development and testing of ideas. Upon request, the supervisor will assist the employee so that the suggestion is sufficiently described for successful evaluation.
